Support for Parents/Carers

A Parent/Carer Contact Point is available at Tideway entitled “Parents Partnership”

My name is Chris Smith and I am a member of the Learning Support/Inclusion Team. I am available in School and can be contacted by phone, email or to meet with you by appointment only, on Monday afternoons from 2.15p.m. – 2.45p.m. I will be able to offer information to you and provide contact details of where you can find specialist advice. This service is strictly confidential.

I hope to use the “Parents Partnership” to share information and advertise opportunities and ideas within the local community. If you are involved in any local clubs/activities Scouts/Brownies etc., have information or can provide a service that you think others locally would be interested in learning about, I would like to hear from you. Also, if you have any suggestions about how the service can be improved or what other information I can include, I shall be pleased to hear your views.

Dfes Parenting Support Leaflet

A new leaflet is available from the Department for Education and Science giving details of how schools are expected to support parents in future and how parents can help support their children's education.
