Progress Reviews
The School believes in working closely with parents and carers.
Parents and carers are welcome, whether on progress review day, a subject consultation day or on an individual basis (by appointment) at any time during the year.
The Planner is the main means of written communication between home and school and should be signed by tutors, and by parents or carers, once a week.
Also our Newsletter, "The Lighthouse" is sent home from school once a term (six times a year) and parents or carers are urged to insist that students bring this home.
Parents or carers are asked to ensure the School has an emergency contact in case of illness or accident, ideally a telephone number.
Communication
Parentmail
The School is currently working on setting up Parentmail - a text/email system for communications between school and home. A letter was sent home to all parents/carers offering the chance to register free for this service. If you wish to but have not already registered we would ask you to please do so.
> There will be no extended learning days this term and no progress review days.
INSET day has been moved from its original date of July 2nd to January 4th 2011.
